Colour: Black / White
Animal ID: 564172
Kamloops BC SPCA
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 250-376-7722
Address: 2816 Tranquille Road
This sweet girl came to us through no fault of her own and is looking for her second chance! Dinero can be shy to start but once she warms up she is a total love bug that just wants to be with her people! Dinero has made some K9 friends but can be timid to start so would require slow introductions, once she warms up she loves to wrestle and play. Dinero LOVES going on walks and hikes so is looking for an active home. But when she is not out playing or walking she also loves to snuggle up to her favorite people. Dinero knows some basic tricks such as sit and is learning to walk better on a leash, she will need someone willing to be patient with her as she continues to learn and figure things out. ***Due to the high number of applications we receive, only the first suitable applications will be contacted.

Meet Pineapple!Pineapple is a very soft spoken boy who absolutely needs a quiet home with no commotion or he will live under the bed. A home with no other animals would also be beneficial as he finds their presence stressful as well. That being said, Pineapple is a VERY sweet boy who cherishes his time with his people. He loves to sleep with you, have his belly massaged and plays around with toys (he is still quite kittenish at heart!) Pineapple has a hard time with a loud environment, so a home with a small and quiet family would be wonderful for him. He also loves to burrow in blankets and towels and has amazing blue eyes. IF you are looking for a calm and adorable feline to be your close companion, please consider Pineapple!https://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-kelowna/

Vinvent is a young cat, still a kitten really, who is very outgoing and friendly. He came into the care of the SPCA when he was found in a home with several other cats not getting the care they needed. Vincent loves people, love attention, loves playing, and loves life! He adjusts quickly to new environments and is great with people, and probably kids as well. Vincent could live with other animals no problem as long as he has proper introductions. If you're looking to adopt a pair then why not consider Vincents brother, Jules, as well! They are often found curled up together. Vincent would love to have lots of toys to play with and cat posts to climb. He's definitely a very happy and energetic guy who will bring a lot of love and entertainment to his home and make a great addition. Kiki is a sweet, senior cat looking for a loving retirement home to enjoy her golden years. She sadly came into the SPCA after her previous guardian passed away. Kiki is a friendly plus sized gal who mostly enjoys finding the best places to nap around the house. She has lived with another cat for most of her life and may possibly be able to live with a new feline friend with proper, slow introductions. We're not sure if she's ever been around dogs or children before. Kiki is used to a quiet, senior home and being indoors only. She seems to adjust quickly to her new environment and enjoys getting lots of attention. She is overweight and an adopter should be prepared to monitor her weight and try and help her trim down with a proper diet so that she be as healthy and happy as possible. It is important to do regular vet check ups with any animal but especially a senior. She should also be brushed regularly to help keep her groomed as older, overweight animals may have a hard time with grooming themselves fully. Kiki will happily hang out on the couch with her person watching some good TV. Will you be the one to open your heart and your home to this sweet senior lady?**KIKI IS NOT READY TO GO TO HER NEW HOME JUST YET AS SHE IS AWAITING A DENTAL SURGERY BUT WILL SOON BE. Shadow is a smokey and smouldering cat looking for that special someone to share his love with. Shadow came into the care of the SPCA after being found in a home with several other cats not receiving adequate care. He is a friendly and affectionate guy, though a bit shy and nervous at first in new environments. He prefers a quieter home without young kids running around as lots of loud noises and action can be a little scary for him. Once comfortable Shadow is a loving guy and will make a wonderful companion to share cuddles with. He would likely be fine living in a home with another friendly cat or two since that is what he is used to but slow, proper introductions would be very important with all new animals. We're not sure how he would do with a dog as he may get upset and hissy if scared. In the right home though, Shadow will love to explore and find all the best spots to stretch out and have lovely cat naps. Oreo is an outgoing and friendly girl that loves to relax with her friends but is also down to play when the mood strikes. She came into the care of the SPCA when she and several other cats were found in a residence suffering from neglect. Fig is a sweet girl that came into the SPCA after being found neglected in a home with several other cats. She is very friendly with people and gets along well with the other cats who shared her home though she can sometimes be a bit mischievous and rambunctious for some of the older cats. She enjoys toys and pets equally. She is very playful and loves to have lots of toys and scratching posts to play on. Fig would most likely do well in a home with other cats and children as long as there are slow and careful introductions. She could probably get used to a cat friendly dog as well with time. Fig isn't a large girl and is still pretty young so any children in the home would have to know how to safely handle a cat and pet her nicely.
